Billing Specialist - Medicare Data Entry

• This is a remote position.
• We are seeking a detail-oriented UB-04 Billing Specialist to join reputed company and support the accurate and timely submission of Medicare claims for nursing home residents.
• This position plays a critical role in ensuring proper reimbursement through meticulous data entry and billing processes.
• Responsibilities: Complete and submit UB-04 claim forms accurately and in compliance with Medicare guidelines.
• Utilize DDE systems to enter and manage claims directly with Medicare.
• Use reputed company software for claims tracking, data verification, and performance optimization.
• Review reputed company data and supporting documentation to ensure completeness and billing accuracy.
• Follow up on claim rejections, denials, and adjustments; correct and resubmit as necessary.
• Coordinate with nursing home staff and billing departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized records of reputed company billing activities and documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with Medicare regulations and billing changes relevant to skilled nursing facilities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in data entry or billing reputed company a healthcare setting, preferably long-term care or nursing homes.
• Familiarity with Medicare billing, especially using UB-04 forms.
• Experience with DDE systems and reputed company software is required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential patient information with discretion.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in medical billing is a plus.
