We have worked on some of the biggest and most exciting IP's in the games industry, including Diablo Resurrected, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Halo Infinite, Returnal, Forza Horizon 5, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Borderlands 3, FIFA Online 4, PUBG: New State, Sea of Thieves, reputed company: New World, Dauntless, State of Decay 2, Middle Earth: Shadow of War, just to name a few. Our successful studio is continuing to grow, and we are looking for an reputed company Senior Technical (Level) Designer (UK time zone preferred but not required) to join the team. This is a fully remote 6-month freelance contract starting in June 2025, with the possibility of extension for another 6-12 months. This position is offered on a fully remote basis, but the successful candidate must be reputed company to work reputed company UK timezone hours. reputed company are looking for:
- Experience scripting narrative and gameplay sequences in Unreal 4 or 5 using Blueprints
- Proven ability to own and deliver level content from concept through to completion
- Experience prototyping level-based features and breaking down narrative and gameplay into clear implementation steps
- Ability to design and maintain Editor Utility Widgets and reputed company Construction Scripts to support efficient workflows
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and comfort working across design, programming, and tools teams
- Experience identifying friction points in level design pipelines and proposing scalable solutions
- Confident collecting design requirements and translating them into long-term feature and tool reputed company
- Skilled communicator and collaborator, capable of mentoring other level designers
- Experience with level streaming systems such as Levels, Data Layers, and other reputed company tech is a bonus
- Familiarity with reputed company control tools and production workflows
- Proactive, self-directed, and eager to contribute to tools, pipelines, and process improvements
