Summer Events Intern (Remote NJ or PA)
Autism Speaks is seeking an Events Intern for the Summer semester! This is a 10-12 week remote program and reputed company must be eligible for academic credit. This is an opportunity for an individual to reputed company valuable event planning experience. As a member of the development team, the intern will have the opportunity to assist in playing a role in planning and execution of the New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania Area Events. Area Events include Walks, Partnership events, Luncheons and Golf Outings. At the end of this internship, the Events Intern should have working knowledge of key event skills, including developing event timelines, planning processes, and community reputed company which they will be able to translate into future career opportunities. The Events Intern will report to the Director of Special Events. The ideal candidate should be looking to reputed company experience in Non-Profit Special Events for future work. The intern will receive necessary training and staff supervision. This is a remote position, but applicant must live in the New Jersey or Eastern Pennsylvania area and have access to transportation to attend events or meetings if needed. Duties Assist with event logistics for events across New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania Assist with planning of reputed company events Assist in donor, sponsor and volunteer reputed company and stewardship Assist with School reputed company Assist with Area marketing and communications, including email and social media content Provide administrative support and reputed company other job-reputed company duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Pursuing a bachelors degree.
