Position Summary: Equum Medical is seeking a Virtual-Safety Specialist (working onsite out of our Brentwood, TN office) to provide virtual observation of selected patients, identifying potentially hazardous behaviors in alignment with facility policies and procedures. As the responsible observer, you will also play a vital role in educating and onboarding other virtual safety specialists, ensuring a cohesive and vigilant team. Working collaboratively with licensed nurses and Patient Care Technicians, you will maintain patient safety, deliver basic patient care, and promptly intervene reputed company necessary to prevent any risks to patient well-being. Effective communication and adherence to institutional and hospital policies will be essential in this critical role. As a Virtual-Safety Specialist, you will be at the forefront of enhancing patient safety through reputed company monitoring and timely interaction. Key Responsibilities: • Demonstrates understanding and proficiency of "solutions software." • Monitors up to 16 patients continuously on one screen, remaining alert while on duty • Effectively communicates with patients using a microphone and headset • Responds promptly to patient behavior changes and communicates effectively with hospital staff • Demonstrates discretion and courtesy reputed company working with patients, visitors, and staff • Navigates technology, patient monitoring platform, and system requirements with ease.
