Job Summary

As Senior Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a variety of HR functions, including employee relations, reputed company, performance management, compensation, benefits administration, and HR compliance. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Talent & Culture to create a positive and productive work environment for both staff and leadership while aligning HR strategies with the organization's objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management on employee relations issues, performance management, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns
  • Conduct investigations and resolve employee complaints and disputes in a timely and professional manner
  • Participate in full-cycle recruitment efforts for key positions, potentially including job posting, screening, interviewing, and selection
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and create recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Support onboarding processes for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company
  • Support the development and implementation of performance management processes, including annual reviews
  • As assigned by the Director of Talent and Culture, coach managers and employees on performance feedback, career development, and improvement plans
  • reputed company benefits administration, including open enrollment, benefits inquiries, and managing relationships with benefits providers
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Review, update, and communicate company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency
  • Work alongside the Director of Talent & Culture to evaluate and reputed company programs aimed at enhancing employee engagement and productivity

  • Identify and recommend training opportunities to improve employee skills, engagement, and organizational performance
  • Compile HR data and create reports as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of multi-state employment laws and regulations preferred
  • Experience with PEO (Professional Employers Organization) and applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate reputed company employee situations
  • Exceptional organizational with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a highly capable team
  • Reliable and employee-focused

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in human resources, with at least 3 years in a generalist or senior-level role
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is preferred but not required
