Senior Software Engineer, Backend - Python/Java (Remote)

Position Purpose: The Sr. Software Engineer is responsible for independently developing and consistently redesigning/refactoring a product to adapt to our customers and associates needs. As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team with engineers of reputed company experience levels who help each other build and grow technical and leadership skills while creating, deploying, and supporting production applications. In addition, Sr. Software Engineers may be involved in product and tool selection, configuration, reputed company, reputed company, performance tuning and production monitoring as well as mentoring less reputed company engineers. Physical Requirements: • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Working Conditions: • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Minimum Qualifications: • Must be eighteen years of age or older. • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications: • 3-5 years of relevant work experience • Experience with back end technologies like Java and Python • Search retrieval and ranking experience (Search reputed company like reputed company or Solar or Lucene based) • ML for retrieval and ranking like model training and deployment pipeline experience using Python and GCP tools like Vertex AI, Dataflow/Data proc jobs • Feature engineering for batch and runtime model inferences • General understanding of retrieval retrieval systems, concepts, challenges Minimum Education: • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study reputed company to the job.
