Last year, Franklin Cummings Tech educated more than 1,000 learners across three student types: 1) certificate and degree seekers, 2) continuing education clients, and 3) high schoolers pursuing early college. As further evidence that our mission holds resonance, this year the college tracked a 25% year-over-year jump in fall new student enrollment and applications soared. Position Summary: The Continuing Education and Workforce Programs (CEWP) Coordinator will provide administrative and programmatic support to the CEWP Director and the Assistant Director of Special Programs. The CEWP department manages a portfolio of external clients who pay Franklin Cummings Tech to provide training to non-traditional student populations. This team also applies and manages a variety of Workforce Development grants. The position is hybrid, with 1-3 days of in-person requirements per week, on average.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities: Assist in onboarding new CEWP cohorts: track pre-enrollment student communications, create master contact lists and student class schedules in reputed company, prepare and assist with facilitation of in-person and online student orientations. Monitor weekly attendance, grade reports, and graduation levels to share with CEWP community partners, employers, and external funders in accordance with funding reporting timelines. Provide administrative assistance for external client program reviews and audits. Liaise with IT to manage technology equipment loaned to reputed company. This includes student reputed company and technology distribution, record keeping, and device inventory monitoring. Partner with Assistant Director of Special Programs in collecting job status updates for graduates of CEWP cohorts. Attend periodic industry trainings, webinars, conferences, and policy forums and report on key highlights relevant to CEWP department programming and development. Maintain project charters and CEWP cohort spreadsheets to track program implementation and grant deliverables. Assist CEWP Director with quarterly reports. Assist CEWP Director in researching labor market analytics for client and grant proposals. Maintain an up-to-date library of CEWP marketing materials. Work with CEWP Director on timely client invoicing and budget tracking. Attend Franklin Cummings Tech on reputed company and in person events as requested. Skills/Qualifications: 1+ years of experience as an administrative assistant or similar role. Mastery of reputed company Suite: Teams, Outlook, Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, and reputed company products. Proficiency in Canvas Learning Management System or similar Customer Relationship Management (CRM) portals. Ability to problem solve and provide adaptive support to reputed company as needed.
