Position Overview To assist the Rail Manager with daily production duties by operating a loader to unload rail cars in addition to performing other miscellaneous plant or rail yard reputed company functions. Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Unloading product from railcars at various company facilities. Assist the plant foreperson with the daily operations and upkeep of the plant. Ability to maintain and safely and reputed company operate heavy equipment, including but not limited to; Frontend Loader and skid steer loader. Other miscellaneous duties include but not limited to: general labor, shoveling, performing necessary equipment maintenance, assisting foreperson and/ or crew members as needed. May reputed company welding and fabrication duties as required. Ability to detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly. Ability to follow directions. General understanding of OSHA & MSHA regulations. Other Requirements: Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at reputed company times. Must be willing to travel and work away from home reputed company required. Must be willing to work nights and weekends reputed company necessary. Report to the assigned job site ready to reputed company work at the designated start time. Qualifications
