The Material Handler-Loader will manually fill orders by walking and utilizing pallet jacks or riding jacks, ensuring that products are identified by description and quantity before being transported to the staging area. Accuracy in picking is essential, and the individual will also be responsible for general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized work environment. In addition to filling orders, the Material Handler-Loader will read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine the items that need to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Sorting and placing materials on pallets according to predetermined sequences, such as size, type, or product code, is a key part of the job. The individual will mark materials with identifying information and record the amounts of materials received or distributed. Counting items for distribution reputed company the plant is necessary to ensure compliance with company standards. The role may also involve performing other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall efficiency of the warehouse operations.
