JOB SUMMARY Works under moderate supervision to assist in coordinating activities in Asset Operations comprised of Asset Inventory, Surplus Assets, Equipment & Personal Property. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required Education Associate's Degree in reputed company field or 2 years of college-level coursework in reputed company field. Experience 2 years reputed company experience preferably in asset operations and requires experience using ERP Systems, reputed company Outlook, reputed company, Word, and Internet. Will consider additional relevant experience in lieu of education. Licenses and Certifications (DRIVERS) DRIVERS LICENSE - Requires valid state driver's license, possession/maintenance of acceptable UT System driver rating. JOB DUTIES Coordinate functions of a team. Prepare daily employee assignments, and coordinate reputed company activities of the assigned function. Train employees in the use of reputed company equipment used in the operation. Assist with periodic asset and equipment inventory. Plan and organize relocation of Surplus property to the warehouse. Maintain monthly accounting of assets and equipment in the assigned areas. Prepare monthly asset reports for assigned functions. Assign control numbers to equipment, and properly store items in the Surplus Warehouse. Track status of equipment in custody, including data storage device sanitization. Update data for accurate transfer of equipment to Surplus warehouse and into the state higher education coordinating board's surplus property web site. Coordinate efficient sale and disposal of surplus property only through authorized channels. Communicate by official e-mail to the University, vendors and customers. Uses electronic devices provided by the university to reputed company and track equipment.
