About the position This position involves managing the logistics and materials processes for Wells in the Dallas area, serving as the primary interface between the Logistics Manager and contractors. The role requires effective communication with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate logistics execution, as well as providing support for materials management. Responsibilities • Serve as the initial point of contact for Well Site Supervisors to dispatch services and products from suppliers. , • Log all requests into a tracking system and record supplier interactions. , • Send confirmations to well site supervisors regarding actions taken or dispatch details. , • Interface with procurement to influence logistics plans and customs procedures. , • Understand local transport and logistics capabilities. , • Maintain communication with the Logistics Manager regarding contractor qualifications. , • Ensure safety, quality, and reliability of logistics execution with contractors. , • Identify and endorse vendor support infrastructure. , • Understand local and national environmental and regulatory requirements. , • Collaborate with other logistics coordinators and project teams to resolve logistics issues. , • Verify delivery documentation and ensure compliance with PO terms. , • Create material receipts and track material transfers in ERP systems. , • Maintain records of transactions, shipments, and POs. , • Schedule and maintain shipments, responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner. , • Enter orders received into the computer system. , • Attend planning meetings with high-level customers. , • Proactively forecast and order materials and services for well operations. Requirements • Experience in logistics planning and execution, construction, safety, and procurement. , • BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or other Technical degree. , • Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts. , • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. , • Ability to read and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. , • Ability to write reports and business correspondence effectively. , • Willingness to travel domestically and overseas to project sites. , • Ability to work day or night shifts and rotate shift assignments.
