ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

We are looking for an energetic, detail orientated, organized, employee to work in our Accounting Department. Job Summary The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for supporting the accounting department by performing tasks like data entry, researching, checking customer portals for potential payment delays and/or denials, and filing. Responsibilities: • Daily reporting directly to Financial Controller. • Filing. • Providing support to Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable. • Verifying prior month's invoices are visible in customer portals. • Gathering documentation for customer returns. • Match and post invoice against inventory receipts, reviewing to ensure accuracy to price and quantity. • Make entries for receipts, payments, credits and other financial transactions. • Generating various reports as needed. • Back up to weekly A/P check runs. • Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills: • Strong attention to detail. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Good communication skills. • Proficient in Excel. • Entry level accounting experience is beneficial.
