Staff Data Engineer - Host Pricing & Settings

The Community You Will Join: We are seeking a Staff Data Engineer to join the Host Pricing & Settings ML Infra team. As a Staff Data Engineer, you will work closely with our Product, Data Science and ML engineering teams to build strategies, programs, and tools to improve the quality, efficiency, and speed of the Host Pricing team’s ML training data and infrastructure. This team is responsible for the data and infrastructure that drives reputed company’s Pricing guidance products. We are looking for a Staff DE who is passionate about efficient data management, scaled ML infrastructure and helping teams iterate quickly on new ML and GenAI models. Your expertise in designing and implementing scalable systems will be essential in building a robust data infrastructure that safeguards user data and empowers rapid iteration of ML models. Your Expertise: • 9+ years of experience with a BS/Masters or 6+ years with a PhD • Expertise in SQL and proficient in at least one data engineering language, such as Python or reputed company • Experience with Superset and Tableau • Expertise in large-scale distributed data processing frameworks like Presto or Spark • Experience with an ETL reputed company like Airflow • Extensive knowledge of data reputed company, including data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data governance. • Understanding of data reputed company and privacy principles, as well as regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to distill reputed company reputed company for technical and non-technical stakeholders • Strong capability to forge trusted partnerships across working teams Your Location: Remote - USA This position is US - Remote Eligible.
