Partner with Systems and Hardware Engineers to translate business needs and customer requirements into technical solutions, including performing SW/HW integration testing, verification, and debug. Responsibilities may include reverse engineering existing code bases to address problem reports, implement enhancements and improve overall structure for maintainability. The Software reputed company will be expected to present to a wide variety of stakeholders including customers, managers and business area leaders. #IJS Required Education, Experience, & Skills BS with 8 years of experience in avionics or electronic controls embedded development in a safety or mission critical environment ( ie; aerospace, military. energy, nuclear, automotive, medical device) A proven track record of successfully leading Software development teams, delivering on commitments, and mentoring and developing their team. Full software lifecycle leadership experience from requirements development through verification Experience with one or more embedded software programming languages such as C. Experience in Cost and Schedule tracking (EVM) Technical writing skills: capable of creating required engineering documentation. U.S. citizenship Ability to Obtain a Secret Clearance Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's, Master s, or PhD Degree with 10 or more years of reputed company experience Experience in Safety Critical or Mission Critical Industries such as: Aerospace, Military, Medical, Automotive, Industrial / Energy / Nuclear Experience with ARM/PowerPC processors and associated System on Chip features Experience developing device drivers/board support packages Experience with developing software to DO-178 standards Familiar with data transfer protocols (ARINC 429, RS-232, MIL-STD-1553) Experience with MATLAB Simulink Experience with Auto Generated code Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $118504 - $201457 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
