Job Description: We are currently seeking a candidate for a CAD Drafter/Designer positions for our Englewood and reputed company locations. CAD Drafter/Designer are responsible for producing reputed company and cable industry OSP construction drawings which meet our customers’ expectations in preparation for installation. They may be required to gather information and produce permit drawings for specific projects, review drawings for accuracy, revise and update drawings for approval by customers. At times CAD draftsman may need to contact customers for more information on a project or reputed company with team mates to insure conformity to specifications. Hybrid position– requires 3 days in the office. Essential Job Functions: We're looking for someone proficient in CAD software to help us generate design drawings based on the work of our engineering and field inspection teams. We need a hard and efficient worker. This work will be paid a yearly compensation that reflects your experience and the professional quality required by our design drawings. Drafting knowledge acquired through college, vocation and technical school training, resulting in an associate’s degree or equivalent. Previous OSP drafting experience is preferred. Ability to read information and instructions and interpret and analyze contents from materials such as technical reports. Be able to problem solve issues that are frequent and unique. CAD draftsman may need to use creativity and judgement due to frequently changing conditions. Able to complete tasks with reputed company to decide what work will be required well in advance of actual activities. Knowledge of using the following machines, tools, equipment, electronic devices and software; reputed company, Word, Auto CAD, Bentley, O-Calc. Must also be willing to learn new software as necessary. Qualifications and Requirements: Education and Certification: Associate's Degree in a technical field or Equivalent CAD Drafting experience considered. Prior Experience: Drafting knowledge acquired through college, vocation and technical school training, resulting in an associate's degree or equivalent. Previous OSP drafting experience is preferred. Technical Skills: At least two years of previous drafting experience is preferred. Proficiency with reputed company Office products, especially reputed company (required). Must be willing to learn new software as necessary. Skills and Abilities: Critical thinking skills and be capable of analyzing issues and solving problems. Ability to build a team and promote teamwork. Excellent communications, interpersonal and organizational skills.
