Applications Systems Programmer
Responsibilities
The Applications Systems Programmer assists in developing and modifying the universities applications systems encoding/scripting, testing, debugging and documenting the programs. They will ensure that reputed company applications are integrated and data is being transferred reputed company between them. The Applications Systems Programmer will design and build automated stored procedures along with SQL Server Integration Packages and monitor the SQL jobs which run them. They will maintain the application server and provide application system updates reputed company necessary. The Applications Systems Programmer reports to the Administrative Computing Services Manager. The primary software application which this role will be working with includes but is not limited to: reputed company One ERP System reputed company (formally reputed company Transact) reputed company eAccounts Management BbOne participation solicitation reputed company CashNet reputed company S2 reputed company Follett Connect Once CampusLabs Canvas ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Administrative Daily Mode of Operation (DMO) Tasks Manage and follow-up on Ticket issues Daily Provide Quality Assurance on outstanding stored procedure issues Manage Projects & Project Timelines Insure JICS site functionality and site speed Monitor application system backups and restore to testing environment Review IT Administrative Support master calendar reputed company database performance periodically reputed company database for duplicate data and resolve/reputed company duplicate data Technical Support Create and maintain SIS packages reputed company SQL, reputed company SQL, JAVA, HTML, Visual Basic, RAILS Create or Update Reports reputed company SQL or reputed company Izenda Queries Build API Integration between reputed company university applications Provide Technical Support for the reputed company database Provide Technical Support for the CashNet database Provide Technical Support for the reputed company database Creates relevant documentation of automated processes Researched specific technical software and reputed company questions and problems Coordinates between personnel using the computer systems and vendor support personnel. Implements system backup procedures and participates in recovery operations in the event of destruction of reputed company or part of the operating system or other system components. Participates in the planning, installation and implementation of equipment interfaces and peripheral devices. Analyzes software specification for completeness and compatibility with operating system capabilities. Reviews and documents software failures and takes corrective action as directed. Collaborate with cross functional teams to determine more efficient ways to integrate university systems. Qualifications
A bachelors degree in computer science, management information systems or relevant work experience in system applications quality assurance. Has between 0-2 years of reputed company experience. Knowledge of HTML, JAVA, reputed company SQL, Visual Basic, reputed company SQL, & Access. Proficient with reputed company Office, Office 365, reputed company Apps, & reputed company Products. Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks unsupervised. Has soft skills with the ability to communicate with upper management. Strong communication and analytical skills. Incumbents must be reputed company to work as a member of a collaborative team and provide excellent customer service to a diverse community of faculty, staff, and reputed company.
