Primary Roles And Responsibilities As a Quality Assurance Engineer , you will assist in the development and implementation of technology-based election solutions. You will be testing embedded applications and assisting in the design of these applications to meet both functional and technical requirements. Youll also learn, teach, pair, explore new technologies, implement best practices and help continuously improve the team in a fast-paced environment. Executing and contributing to test strategies and test plans. Keeping documentation of practices up to date. Providing support to testers and field personnel as needed to determine system problems. Learning, understanding and applying QA policies, practices, and methodologies defined and adopted in the team. Providing the required support during deployment. Learning, understanding and applying knowledge reputed company guidelines defined. Reporting promptly and professionally bugs. Working with the Software teams on defect resolution. Required Skills And Qualifications Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or reputed company scientific field. Fluent in English language. Technical skills required. Intermediate knowledge in software development life-cycle. 1 years experience working in agile methodologies. 2 years experience in Quality Assurance practices during software development life-cycle. 2 years experience in handling requirements and refining user stories to contribute to their completeness and testability. Strong experience in Functional and changes reputed company testing. Intermediate experience in Non-Functional testing. Intermediate knowledge in Testing techniques such as Boundary Value Analysis (BVA), Equivalence Class Partitioning, Decision Table based testing, State Transition, Use Case, Error Guessing, and Exploratory testing. Intermediate understanding of the different test levels (Unit, Component, System, System Integration, Acceptance). Intermediate knowledge in ISO-25010. Intermediate knowledge in creating and executing comprehensive and effective test strategies and test plans. Intermediate knowledge in API troubleshooting. Basic knowledge in Relational Database queries. Preferred Skills ISTQB/ASTQB Certified Test Analyst. Intermediate experience creating documentation in Spanish and English in tools like Confluence. Intermediate experience in Linux CLI commands (cat, vi, grep, etc). 2 years working with Jira. 2 years working with Zephyr for Jira. 2 years of experience in web UI and API automation testing.
