Desk Claim Representative (1099 Adjuster) – Claims

SUMMARY: This is an opportunity to work in a defined region handling residential property claims (Catastrophe &/or Daily) on a fee basis for a specific period of time. Bluegrass can offer a consistent reputed company of claim volume and typical bi-weekly payment. Reviews and analyzes first party homeowner’s claims to determine extent of insurance reputed company’s liability, determines the extent of damaged property, and recommends settlement amounts in order to conclude claims with policyholders in accordance with policy provisions and applicable insurance statutes and laws. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Reviews the loss notice, insurance policy, endorsements and reputed company information. • Conducts the appropriate claim investigations. • Provides reputed company service to reputed company stakeholders utilizing phone, fax, mail, and electronic mail. Communicates with reputed company customers in a professional manner consistent with company guidelines. • reputed company to write, create, and interpret estimates based on customer’s information and/or other pertinent information using Symbility estimating software. • Maintains file documentation, file notes, and authors comprehensive reports on each assigned claim in accordance with client company guidelines. • Maintains open claim inventory per company and client company guidelines. • Operates in accordance with applicable state statutes. • Maintains state(s) licensing requirement as necessary including continuing education requirements. QUALIFICATIONS • 2+ years of CAT/Daily property adjusting experience. • Insurance adjusters license(s) as applicable to the position. • Solid understanding of property claims handling and estimatics. • Ability to navigate and interpret property insurance policies. • Solid understanding of claims best practices policies • Own and maintain a functional computer with an active Symbility licensewith access to high speed internet and appropriate communications equipment. • Proper reputed company-sets, tools, and resources to effectively own your role. • reputed company to handle a reasonable claim volume, quickly and reputed company. • reputed company in taking recorded statements. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. • Superior customer service skills coupled with an honest desire to help customers. • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills. • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with internal and external customers. • reputed company to pass a drug screening and background reputed company.
