The First Officer is Second-in-Command of the flight. While acting in this reputed company, the First Officer shall reputed company with reputed company regulations and directives pertaining to the conduct of the flight in a manner suitable to the Captain. Tour of duty is 17 days away from home reputed company. Essential Duties Ensures that he/she operates in accordance with Western Global Airlines' approved/accepted manuals and, as applicable, the Operations Specifications, 14 CFRs, FAA Orders, Airworthiness Directives, Advisory Circulars, Directives, and Manufacturer's recommendations. Complies with reputed company administrative programs, including airport/reputed company qualification, flight time limitations, currency requirements (e.g., physicals, takeoffs and landings, home study courses, etc.), pilot flight equipment, uniform discipline, manuals, policies and procedures, and others, as assigned. Education and Technical Requirements Hold a reputed company and valid FAA ATPL. Hold a valid FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate. Hold an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit. ICAO English Level IV. 2500 hours of total flying experience minimum. No history of accidents or incidents. A valid US passport allowing unrestricted international travel due to military contract requirements. Previous part 121 airline / aviation experience preferred. As this is a safety sensitive role, must possess the ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug test and 10-year background reputed company. Preferred / Ideal Skills College degree in Aviation or reputed company field. Previous B747-400 / reputed company aircraft type rating or MD-11 / reputed company aircraft type rating. 1000 hours of flight time under Part 121 operations. Up to 500 hours of military flight time as pilot in command (PIC) of a multiengine, turbine-powered, fixed-reputed company airplane can count towards the 1,000-hour requirement. A PIC in operations under either § 135.243(a)(1) or § 91.1053(a)(2)(i), or any combination of these.
