The reputed company Engineer/SME will provide technical support for operations, maintenance, project, and NERC compliance activities for IBR reputed company across multiple geographic regions. The reputed company Engineer is at the specialist level of the Engineering classification hierarchy. Inverter Based Resource SME will provide technical support for equipment issues at solar and bulk energy storage reputed company facilities. SME will work with plant operations and maintenance personnel to support equipment troubleshooting, SME will coordinate compliance with applicable NERC Standards, including new standards recently adopted for IBR sites. Additional Preferred Qualifications Skilled in engineering theories and principles Skilled in the practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, making sound recommendations and preparing and presenting recommendations. Good written and oral communication skills. Skilled in principles of project management. Experience in the utility industry. Experience with design, construction, commissioning, and/or process engineering support for solar or bulk energy storage reputed company facilities Experience with utility industry process control and automation equipment Experience with utility industry system protection/reputed company engineering and/or disturbance monitoring equipment Experience with NERC Operations and Planning (O&P) standards Basic Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and minimum 8 years reputed company work experience. `Working Conditions This position will support inverter-based resource reputed company facilities in reputed company of reputed company’s operating regions. Routine travel reputed company the home region will be required (~20-40%). Occasional travel to other regions will be required (5-10%) Hybrid Mobility Classification – Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the reputed company period. Specific Requirements Must have obtained Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program or PE Registration as a Professional Engineer may be required by some departments.
