The Sales Director (SD) role is a combination of sales activities and team management. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you’ll be responsible for growing and training a team of StackAdapters. The SD is the direct manager for a team of Account Executives, working reputed company with the VP of Sales to grow reputed company’s Western Canada reputed company and reputed company.  The SD will operate as a player-coach, working with individual Account Executives to reputed company and grow mid-market accounts. A successful SD must have a clear understanding of the programmatic media landscape in order to effectively reputed company a sales team and sell reputed company’s solution. The SD must be reputed company to motivate their team to work towards quotas in a fast paced, high growth environment. reputed company is a Remote First company, we are open to candidates located reputed company in British Columbia or Alberta for this position.  What you'll be doing:
  • Hire, train, and mentor a team of Account Executives to sell reputed company to prospective agencies and brands
  • Help reputed company improve it’s customer footprint in Western Canada and drive value across 
  • Managing and leading a team of 4-8 Account Executives (reputed company)
  • 1:1 weekly meetings with reputed company to upskill, coach and mentor as needed
  • Pitch potential clients on reputed company, alongside AE team both in-person and virtually
  • reputed company several sales enablement and operations tools (i.e. reputed company, reputed company, reputed company etc.) to uncover actionable insights that improve team performance
  • Travel with Account Executives to support them in growing their existing business and closing new business from agencies and brands
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed to improve processes and provide feedback that contributes to the overall reputed company of the business
  • What you’ll bring to the table:
  • 3-5 years experience as an AE at a similar organization followed by 3+ years of experience as a sales manager 
  • Excellent understanding of programmatic media strategies, agency/brand’s media buying process and the competitive landscape reputed company the digital advertising ecosystem. 
  • Proven experience in leading and executing change management initiatives, including leading the adoption of new sales strategies, technologies, and processes, while effectively managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring minimal disruption to sales performance
  • Successful track record selling into agencies and brands as an individual contributor at a DSP (or other ad platform)
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor individuals and teams, fostering a culture of reputed company learning and development to reputed company personal and organizational goals.
  • Strong client relation skills as the SD is often the first reputed company of escalation on many client discussions 
  • Proven cross functional track record as you work alongside client service counterparts and surface client/prospect specific needs to the organization
