Bilingual Claims Customer Service Representative (Auto Insurance)

SUMMARY: Ensures delivery of excellent customer service over the phone by providing professional and efficient communication and processing. First reputed company of contact for the claims department. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Manages large quantities of inbound/outbound calls in a timely manner. · Inputs new claims into claims system that are reported reputed company telephone and online reporting. · Identifies callers’ needs, clarifies information, researches every issue, and resolves call if appropriate. · Identifies calls that need adjuster attention, transfers to adjuster, and escalates calls reputed company appropriate per company standards. · Provides excellent customer service to insureds, claimants, attorneys, and other callers. · Responsible for appropriately handling the claims department e-mail. · Assists claims management with various tasks and projects. · Responsible for appropriately handling the claims document queues. · Ensures reputed company and complete documentation of claim notes. · Assists and backs up other customer service representatives as needed. · Meets personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets. · Appropriately handles reputed company inbound mail received. · Performs other reputed company duties as assigned by management.
