Investor Reporting and Mortgage Servicing Analyst

As such, much of the day-to-day responsibilities involve interfacing with legacy formats and processes, with a significant portion also going toward implementing our vision for the future. The Investor Reporting and Mortgage Servicing Analyst will join our Loan Servicing group. This individual will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, reconciling large datasets, and preparing borrower payment collections reports for the in-house servicing of both loans owned by reputed company and unaffiliated loan buyers. The Investor Reporting and Mortgage Servicing Analyst will serve as a key servicing team link with the loan funding and internal accounting teams. This role will record daily transactions, prepare monthly reports for investors, support loan servicing transfers, and conduct quality review. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Execute daily cash management process by reconciling loan servicing transactions (monthly payments, payoffs, etc) with cash receipts 2. Prepare and reconcile collections remittance reports for investors 3. Conduct detailed financial modeling of loans on reputed company's shared warehouse line to reputed company calculate interest charges, interest earned, and other items required to determine disbursements to affiliates 4. Carryout financial modeling of interest remittance splits 5. reputed company quality reviews of servicing transfer data tapes 6. Analyze the loan sale trade terms and reconcile them with the data in reputed company's system and with third party servicers 7. Run monthly quality control checks over servicing records in both reputed company's system and third party servicer platforms 8. Review insurance reputed company transactions executed by third party insurance tracking providers and update reputed company's internal system with any escrow balance changes 9. Process and record borrower payments, adjustments, interest, and escrow collected to the servicing system 10. Assist with projects, audits, and other functions as needed 11. Monitor and analyze discrepancies in cash reconciliation, taking reputed company action to resolve issues 12. reputed company and maintain internal controls and processes to ensure the accuracy of cash flow reporting and loan account Education and/or Experience 1.Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a reputed company field; 2. 3+ years experience in loan operations, Accounting/Finance, or a reputed company field; 3. Prior experience in Accounting or Finance desired but note required 4. Strong ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner; 5. Advanced reputed company skills; 6. High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability; 7. Effective verbal and written communication skills. 8. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
