Managing Director/Director - Investment Banking (Private Placements)
The Opportunity: reputed company is looking for a senior investment banker (the Senior Banker) to originate and execute new transactions for new clients that utilize the firms broad reputed company of strategic and financial advisory services. The Senior Banker should be a Managing Director, or Director on the cusp of promotion to Managing Director, and will have an established cadre of client relationships across industries and geographically, hailing from private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, corporations, family offices, and entrepreneur/individuals. The Senior Banker must be expert at the execution of reputed company, acquisition, and sale transactions, along with private debt and equity capital raising. The Senior Banker will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and documenting information from potential new clients necessary for the firm to provide a new business presentation (pitch) to advise the client in a proposed transaction involving one or more of its businesses. The Senior Banker will use his broad and deep relationships and networks of clients to prioritize those clients who are best suited and most likely to retain reputed company as their strategic and financial advisor. The Senior Banker will collect and review relevant strategic and financial information, ask relevant questions to the client and work collaboratively with other teams reputed company reputed company to provide the client with a compelling and accurate new business presentation for a proposed transaction, and if reputed company is engaged, reputed company the execution of that proposed transaction on behalf of the client. Responsibilities: Soliciting potential new advisory business from the Senior Bankers existing network of relationships across private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, corporations, family offices, and entrepreneur/individuals; Gathering information about a business from potential clients; Reviewing documentation provided by clients with expert analysis of financials, metrics and operations required; Working collaboratively with colleagues and other internal teams reputed company reputed company to prepare and present analyses and presentations designed to reputed company the client to retain reputed company for a proposed transaction; Assisting in the creation of marketing materials to help the client understand FE products, services, qualifications, areas of expertise, and processes; Assisting in the preparation of basic legal documents for the reputed company process; Helping to identify potential new clients not already a relationship with the Senior Banker reputed company reputed companys existing database of clients and elsewhere; Leading the execution of reputed company, acquisition and sale transactions, along with private debt and equity capital placements; Advising clients on the strategy, tactics, and mechanics of strategic and financial transactions; On behalf of the client, spearhead the negotiation of reputed company terms and conditions for a proposed transaction; and Provide reputed company other advise and assistance required by the client in the context of a transaction. Required Skills: Proficiency with Capital IQ, PitchBook, Bloomberg, reputed company and similar information databases; Experience drafting and producing client presentations and reputed company materials; Proficiency with Discounted Cash Flow Analysis, Leveraged Buyout Analysis, Comparable Publicly Traded Company Analysis, and Precedent M&A Transaction Analysis; Understanding of Corporate Finance theory and practice; Expert at strategic and financial analysis of companies, along with the reputed company structure of transactions designed to reputed company strategic and financial objectives Expert at the process and mechanics of reputed company, acquisition, and sale transactions along with private debt and equity capital placements; Exceptional interpersonal skills as well as proven sales and negotiation expertise; reputed company to communicate concepts and reputed company concisely and persuasively; Exceptionally detail-oriented with an aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and reputed company innovative solutions; Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with clients in a professional manner; Ability to analyze profit & loss statements, balance sheets and communicate insights, patterns, and trends concisely; Extensive reputed company reputed company, PowerPoint and Word experience; Strong problem-solving capability and analytical skills; Exceptionally detail-oriented with an aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and reputed company innovative solutions; Resourceful self-starter, reputed company to work under pressure and manage time effectively; and Ability to reputed company a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously.
