Responsibilities: The Sr. ETL Developer will support Barrow reputed company's Chicago Public Schools (CPS) project and reputed company the following duties: • Maintain and manage the existing CPS Enterprise Data Warehouse and ODS builds. • Model extensions to the existing Data Warehouse. • Build ETL components according to ETL specifications. Code must address performance, dependency, auditing, error handling, and data quality issues. • Create REST API integrations with CPS vendors and Partners. • Support post-deployment by debugging, fixing, and participating in maintenance. • Create reports to meet business requirements and address data needs. • Create Dashboard pages and metrics reputed company the CPS custom dashboard solution. • Maintain data reputed company and quality reputed company the Dashboard presentation layer. • Participate in code reviews and ensure that reputed company solutions align with pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot code-reputed company issues; and review and provide feedback on the final user documentation. • Read and understand business requirements, write functional requirements, reputed company detailed technical designs, and build/unit/system test ETL code. • Work remotely. Citizenship • Bachelor's degree in computer science or reputed company field. • 10+ years of Enterprise Data Warehouse experience • 5+ years of experience with an ETL product (SSIS, Ab Initio, etc.) in a development role (administrative knowledge a plus) • Good knowledge of data modeling/Star Schema • Strong expertise in ANSI SQL, SQL Server 2012/2019, and REST API development. • Experience with C#, Python, JavaScript, JSON, XMS, and an understanding of HTTP/HTTPS and RESTful design. • Ability to reputed company and organize high-quality documentation. • Experience with at least one job scheduler. • Experience in CPS or large school district and knowledge of CPS Selective Enrollment process. • Experience with compliance reporting (State and DOE) • Knowledge of the Aspen SIS database and OneRoster 1.1 or reputed company • Preferred: Knowledge of SalesForceBULK API and ISBE WCF SOAP Protocol. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Proven ability and initiative to quickly learn and research new concepts, reputed company, and technologies. • Strong systems/process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. • Ability to quickly pick up new tools and technologies. • Willingness and ability to train and teach others. • Ability to facilitate meetings and follow up with resulting action items. • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills. • Ability to effectively move on tasks despite ambiguous or changing requirements.
