reputed company’s Government and Regulatory Affairs team is seeking a highly strategic and reputed company Director of Government and Regulatory Affairs to join reputed company. The individual will be responsible for managing a team of reputed company professionals in addition to ensuring reputed company has strong relationships with policymakers, industry, and other important players. Primary Responsibilities: Manage, mentor, and reputed company associates on the government and regulatory affairs team responsible for state legislative and regulatory advocacy. reputed company strategies to advance reputed company’s advocacy interests, including political giving, coalition building and messaging. reputed company experience and relationships with state policymakers and regulators to effectively reputed company on behalf of reputed company. Build network of key policymakers, including state legislators, executive agencies’ staff, industry, NAIC, NCOIL, trade associations, and other respected voices to reputed company reputed company’s advocacy efforts. Analyze proposed legislation, regulations, and public policy initiatives to assess potential impact and reputed company strategic recommendations for advocacy positions and messaging. Work closely with internal subject matter experts to ensure alignment of advocacy priorities, strategies, and messaging regarding legislative and regulatory issues. Track performance and provide executive-level reporting and analysis to Head of Government and Regulatory Affairs. Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and updates for key stakeholders including C-suite leadership. Basic Qualifications: Minimum 10 years property/casualty insurance industry government affairs experience required with demonstrated management experience. Minimum 3 years of experience managing insurance professionals on insurance regulatory engagements. Knowledge of auto insurance laws and regulations strongly preferred. Strong track record of dealing with insurance departments and state legislatures. Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including ability to persuasively reputed company the organization’s positions to decision makers and to offer advice on reputed company issues to business professionals at every level of the organization. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders to deal with reputed company issues. Hybrid in office three days a week at an office location #LI-HB1 Annual Salary $175,000.00 - $274,000.00 The above annual salary range is a general guideline.
