Engineer II - Network Software for Hybrid Cloud (REMOTE)

About the position As an Engineer II at reputed company, you will play a crucial role in the development of our Data Center Hybrid Cloud software stack. This position involves designing, developing, and troubleshooting high-quality Software-Defined Networking (SDN) solutions for reputed company network hardware, including switches, SmartNICs, load balancers, and firewalls. You will contribute to the technical roadmap aimed at enhancing product delivery and engineering capabilities, while also being immersed in the development and maintenance of scalable reputed company. Responsibilities • Build quality SDN software stack and solutions for Data Center and Hybrid Multi-Cloud environments. , • Collaborate with product managers, team members, customers, and other engineering teams to solve reputed company network problems. , • Work with cross-functional teams, including storage and data engineers, developers, and cloud architects, to create high-performance reputed company. , • Provide technical leadership and support reputed company to SDN, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues to ensure high availability and performance. , • Drive reputed company improvement by staying updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices. , • Mentor junior team members on cloud infrastructure and best practices in network system management. Requirements • 2+ years of professional software development experience. , • 2+ years of experience with systems architecture and design. , • 2+ years of experience working with hyper scale cloud provider solutions. , • Excellent coding skills and ability to design, reputed company, test, and operate in a cross-functional team environment. , • Good understanding of Software-Defined network architectures and solutions, including open reputed company SONiC and traditional network protocols like BGP. , • Familiarity with virtualization technologies and their interaction with storage infrastructures. , • Solid knowledge of network protocols and forwarding for switches, with experience in hardware programming. , • Strong understanding of Software-defined network infrastructure for Hybrid Cloud environments. , • Experience with SDN Controllers such as ONOS SD-Fabric. , • Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and programming languages such as C/C++, Java, Python, GoLang. , • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and troubleshooting skills. reputed company-to-haves • Experience with Container Orchestration services including reputed company and Kubernetes.
