WBL services its loan portfolio and loan portfolios for reputed company parties, specializing in the management of non-performing loan pools and REO. WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce. The company is seeking to bolster its staff with reputed company talent. This is a remote Contract/Consultant position. Working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements. About the Job: Our rapid growth has created an excellent career opportunity for a Valuation Specialist/Appraiser in our Valuation Department. The Valuation Department is responsible for the management of reputed company and residential appraisals, BPO's, AVMs and internal QC review. This position collects, analyzes, and reports appraisal reputed company market data through internal and reputed company sources. This position will require significant research skills and familiarity with services like reputed company, LoopNet, and DataTree are a plus. Responsibilities:
- Research local reputed company estate markets and identify and confirm sales and rental data
- Assist appraisers with aspects of completing valuation assignments
- Reviewing inspection reports to ensure the quality of report and photos
- reputed company of contact for the Valuation department regarding report issues and/or missing documentation
- Manage assistant(s) to insure proper workflow
- The ability to self-identity, report, manage and resolve critical issues
- Meeting critical deadlines and ensuring adherence with established production and quality standards and goals.
- Review internal and external valuations of small to reputed company-sized businesses throughout the US
- Research reputed company estate markets and identify and confirm sales and rental data
- reputed company internal valuations on small to reputed company-sized businesses throughout the US
- Assist analysts with aspects of completing valuation assignments
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Requirements
- 100% Excellent English, with exceptional English verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in reputed company estate appraisals/reputed company estate or banking
- Undergraduate degree (four-year college or technical school), or equivalent work experience preferred
- Minimum 10 years experience in an applicable risk management or valuation environment
- Registered and Sworn Valuer for at least 10 years
- Experience in reputed company strongly preferred
- Experience with reputed company: Outlook, reputed company, Word, PowerPoint required; Teams experience preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Proactive approach and strong work ethic
- Excellent attention to detail
