Maintenance Technician $34/hr, 3rd shift

10th September, 2024 Our established client has an immediate need for a full-time Maintenance Technician The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a variety of maintenance work on heating systems, electrical systems, machines, hydraulics, refrigeration, and other facilities maintenance as required This position pays $25 -$30 per hour. Maintenance Technician Shift: 3rd shift Sun-Thurs, 10:30pm-7am 8-10 hours of OT Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, reputed company systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. • Removes defective parts by dismantling devices... using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts. • Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. • Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges. • Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance. • Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. • Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. Maintenance Technician Qualifications: • Ability to work independently, exhibit the ability to solve problems without assistance and demonstrate effective communication skills both verbal and written • Able to read and understand blueprints and schematics • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. • Must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose reputed company electrical problems • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background reputed company • High School Diploma or GED, with above-average mechanical ability Maintenance Technician Pay: -$25-34/hr, depending on experience -$1.50/hr shift differential Maintenance Technician Benefits: -This is a direct-hire role, with full benefits -Medical, Dental, Vision -401k -PTO Apply Job!
