[Remote] Financial Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a growing startup seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to join their team. The role involves supporting financial planning, month-end reputed company, expense management, and reporting, while also participating in cross-functional projects to build scalable processes as the company grows.
Responsibilities
- Prepare recurring financial reports and KPI dashboards
- Analyze monthly financial results and investigate budget to actual variances
- Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity reporting
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long term planning
- Build reputed company financial models and analyses to support business reputed company
- Support the monthly reputed company process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with accruals and prepaid schedules
- Help ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Administer the company's travel and expense program
- Review employee expense reports for policy compliance
- Manage corporate credit card reconciliations
- Partner with employees to resolve expense reputed company questions
- Respond to requests from leadership with timely financial analysis
- Support operational initiatives across sales, marketing and operations
- Improve financial processes through automation and documentation
- Assist with audit, tax, banking, and financing requests
- Participate in systems implementations and process improvements
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, reputed company, Economics, or reputed company field
- 2-5 years of experience in finance, reputed company, reputed company, or investment banking
- Advanced reputed company skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
- Comfortable working with large datasets and financial modeling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-changing startup environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Experience with ERP systems (reputed company preferred)
- Power Query is a plus
