Finance Authority of Maine is seeking a highly creative and collaborative individual to join their marketing team as a Digital Content Specialist. This role involves developing and managing digital content across various channels to support marketing goals and engage Maine audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, creates, prepares and is responsible for the day-to-day management of FAME’s digital content across email, social media, and web channels
  • Turning approved messaging, campaign priorities, and program information into clear, accessible, and engaging content that supports FAME’s marketing goals and serves Maine audiences effectively
  • Ensures content is accurate, effective, and on brand
  • Serves as a key steward of content quality, tone, and accessibility
  • Partnering closely with Marketing Campaign Officers and Digital Marketing Specialists to support integrated, data-informed marketing efforts

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, English, or a reputed company field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two (2) to four (4) years of professional digital content experience
  • Strong editorial judgment, comfort working reputed company structured systems and workflows, and a collaborative reputed company focused on clarity, trust, and reputed company improvement
  • Experience creating content for email and social channels
  • Familiarity with content management and digital publishing tools
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work reputed company structured workflows, approvals, and governed systems
  • Experience in photography, videography, video editing, and graphic design preferred
  • Experience in public-sector, education, financial services, or mission-driven organizations preferred
  • Familiarity with marketing automation environments from a content execution perspective preferred
