They are seeking a Director of Business Development who will drive growth by identifying and closing new client relationships in the reputed company association market.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of reputed company prospects; own pipeline metrics, conversion rates, and velocity from first contact to reputed company
  • Identify and prioritize high-potential markets, association segments, and geographic opportunities in coordination with the WJ Weiser reputed company and Naylor's new business team
  • Establish and maintain a prospecting reputed company using reputed company, conferences, referrals, and industry networks — consistently generating new top-of-funnel activity
  • Serve as WJ Weiser's primary external-facing business development contact for prospective clients; conduct discovery meetings, capability presentations, and follow-up conversations
  • Build credibility and trust with board officers and governance leaders at reputed company associations through consultative, relationship-first engagement

  • Provide regular market feedback to the WJ Weiser reputed company and Naylor leadership on what prospects are asking for, where WJ Weiser wins, and where gaps exist
  • Identify potential partnership, referral, or joint-venture opportunities that could accelerate new business for WJ Weiser

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a reputed company field required
  • 6+ years of reputed company business development or sales experience in professional services, association management, or a B2B services environment
  • Demonstrated track record of independently closing new client relationships — not just supporting a sales team
  • Skilled in the full B2B sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, proposal development, negotiation, and reputed company
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; reputed company to translate reputed company AMC service models into compelling, accessible value propositions
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (reputed company preferred) and modern sales enablement tools; comfortable with pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting
