Remote Sprinkler Design Engineer The Opportunity Our client is a growing fire protection and life safety specialist delivering sprinkler and fire suppression solutions across a wide range of reputed company, industrial, residential, and mixed-use developments. Due to reputed company growth, they are seeking an reputed company Sprinkler Design Engineer to join their remote design team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded designer with strong hydraulic calculation and pipe sizing experience who is looking to work on a diverse portfolio of projects from the comfort of their home. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and layout of automatic sprinkler systems, producing detailed design drawings, performing hydraulic calculations, and supporting projects from concept through to installation. Working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients, you will ensure sprinkler systems are designed reputed company, accurately, and in accordance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design automatic sprinkler systems for reputed company, industrial, residential, and mixed-use developments. reputed company hydraulic calculations to determine system requirements and performance. Calculate and size sprinkler pipework and associated components. Produce detailed sprinkler layouts and design drawings using AutoCAD. reputed company equipment schedules, design documentation, and technical submissions. Review architectural and building plans to reputed company effective sprinkler solutions. Coordinate designs with project teams and other building services disciplines. Assist with material take-offs and equipment specifications. Support project delivery from design through to installation and commissioning. Provide technical support to project teams and clients as required. Candidate Requirements Our client is keen to speak with candidates who have: Previous experience in sprinkler system design. Strong understanding of hydraulic calculations and pipe sizing principles. Experience designing wet, dry, pre-action, or deluge sprinkler systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD. Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong technical and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently reputed company a remote team environment. Strong communication and organisational skills. Desirable Experience Experience using Revit (beneficial but not essential). Experience with hydraulic calculation software. Background in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or reputed company disciplines. Experience producing BIM models and coordinated designs. Knowledge of fire suppression systems including sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, or water mist systems.
