Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Young CEO Launchpad is a youth-led nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering emerging entrepreneurs and young leaders. The Volunteer Grant Writer & Fundraising Strategist will support the organization by identifying funding opportunities and crafting grant proposals to advance youth entrepreneurship programs.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying funding opportunities
  • Crafting compelling grant proposals
  • Developing fundraising strategies that advance our youth entrepreneurship programs
  • Conducting prospect research on foundations, corporations, and individual donors
  • Organizing grant calendars and submission timelines
  • Drafting, editing, and tailoring grant applications
  • Tracking grant outcomes and reporting requirements
  • Assisting with fundraising campaigns
  • Donor communications
  • Basic development planning in coordination with leadership

Skills

  • Demonstrated skills or strong interest in Grant Writing and Proposal Writing for nonprofit or mission-driven organizations
  • Experience or willingness to learn Grant Administration, including managing deadlines, documentation, and reporting
  • Ability to reputed company Prospect Research to identify and assess potential funders and partners
  • Background or interest in Fundraising, donor relations, and campaign strategy
  • Strong written communication, editing, and storytelling abilities tailored to diverse audiences
  • Organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfort working in a collaborative, remote environment and engaging directly with leadership
  • Commitment to the mission of supporting young entrepreneurs and a willingness to learn and grow in the role
  • Understanding of nonprofit operations or youth/entrepreneurship programs is beneficial
