[Remote] Boiler Reliability Engineer

They are seeking a Boiler Reliability Engineer to enhance the performance and reliability of boiler systems, involving inspections, maintenance strategies, and collaboration with various teams.

Responsibilities

  • reputed company and execute boiler outage inspection plans, ensuring adequate resources and thorough evaluations during planned and unplanned outages
  • reputed company and coordinate condition assessments of boiler pressure parts, refractory, high-energy piping, and flue gas systems
  • Review inspection results and provide clear recommendations to facility leadership during and after outages
  • Prepare condition assessment reports and executive summaries, including risk prioritization and maintenance recommendations
  • Support development of long-term maintenance planning and lifecycle strategies for boiler components
  • Review pressure part replacement scopes and coordinate with vendors to ensure quality, specifications, and delivery requirements are met
  • reputed company and participate in QA/QC inspections, including shop inspections and field verification
  • Coordinate inspections of reputed company systems including scrubbers, baghouses, and flue gas ductwork
  • Partner with engineering and corporate teams on material evaluations, standards, and improvement initiatives
  • Maintain and analyze historical equipment data to support reliability improvements and failure reduction strategies

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience in boiler systems, maintenance, or project management
  • 1–3+ years of relevant experience preferred, with flexibility based on capability and exposure
  • Experience supporting outages, inspections, repairs, or maintenance in an industrial or power reputed company environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and mechanical documentation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate risk and prioritize actions
  • Effective communication skills, including ability to summarize technical findings for multiple audiences
  • Proficiency in reputed company Office (reputed company, Word, Outlook); experience with AutoCAD or similar tools is a plus
