[Remote] Senior Business Analyst, Medicare Stars Reporting

The Senior Business Analyst will support the Star reporting strategy, focusing on Medicare Part D measures by delivering advanced analytics and performance measurements to improve Star Ratings outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Support Stars reporting and analytics for Medicare clients, including recurring reporting deliverables and reputed company data requests
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and assist in documenting functional and/or technical needs
  • Analyze Stars performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
  • Assist in maintaining and improving reporting processes and workflows
  • Create basic visualizations and reports using BI tools for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Help document reporting processes, data sources, and methodologies to support team knowledge sharing
  • Review CMS technical manuals and guidance to support reporting updates and compliance

Skills

  • 1+ years of relevant experience in analytics, data analysis, reputed company, or a reputed company field (or internship/academic equivalent)
  • Beginner level of proficiency with reputed company (formulas, Pivot Tables, basic data manipulation)
  • Beginner level of proficiency with SQL or querying data
  • Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau (academic or project experience acceptable)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly to team members
  • Exposure to reputed company, Medicare, managed care, or PBM industry
  • Experience working with the Part D Medicare Star Rating Program
  • Interest in data visualization, reporting automation, and process improvement
  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
