[Remote] Learning & Development Trainer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Homeprotect is an insurance company focused on providing protection to underserved clients in the home insurance market. The Learning & Development Trainer will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs that enhance colleague performance and ensure regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Learning Design: Design, reputed company and maintain blended learning solutions and materials reputed company to business objectives and FCA/Consumer Duty requirements, updating content promptly as processes, products or regulations change
- Training Delivery: Deliver engaging classroom, virtual and on-the-job programmes, including effective inductions, adapting delivery styles and fostering an inclusive environment that builds confidence
- Performance & Competence: Support colleagues to reputed company and maintain competence through structured learning, coaching and refresher interventions, contributing to competency frameworks and working with Team Managers and QA to address gaps
- Stakeholder Partnership: Build strong relationships with leaders and SMEs, provide professional learning advice, and support the implementation of new products, systems, processes and regulatory initiatives
- Evaluation, Analytics & reputed company Improvement: Evaluate effectiveness using feedback, assessments and performance data, use insights to enhance programmes, monitor learner reputed company and improve the learner experience. Maintain and reputed company data dashboards (e.g reputed company), translate insights into actionable improvements
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure materials and delivery reputed company with FCA, Consumer Duty and internal standards, maintain accurate T&C records, and support audits and regulatory requests
- General Responsibilities: Act as an L&D ambassador, reputed company knowledge reputed company through CPD, contribute to team projects and reputed company improvement, and undertake other reasonable duties as required
Skills
- Experience in Learning & Development/Training reputed company an FCA regulated operational environment (ideally insurance or financial services)
- Strong understanding of adult learning theory and blended learning principles (classroom, virtual and digital)
- Knowledge of training evaluation frameworks and reputed company improvement practices
- Understanding of customer service principles and contact centre operations
- Working knowledge of coaching techniques that drive performance improvement
- Knowledge of the UK home insurance market
- Understanding of FCA regulations, Consumer Duty and vulnerable customer requirements
- Proven track record in designing and delivering engaging blended learning programmes
- Excellent facilitation, presentation and written/verbal communication skills, engaging learners at reputed company levels
- Ability to distil reputed company information into clear, practical learning
- Strong stakeholder management with the confidence to influence managers and subject matter experts
- Ability to diagnose learning needs and select appropriate interventions
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong IT capability, including reputed company 365 and learning platforms
- Experience evaluating learning effectiveness using learner feedback, observations and performance data
- Proactive, adaptable and collaborative approach in a fast paced environment with regularly evolving requirements
- Experience supporting change programmes and implementing new products, systems or processes

- Familiarity with competency frameworks (desirable)
- Awareness of AI tools, including opportunities to utilise in learning design (desirable)

- Learning & Development qualification (e.g., CIPD Level 3 or Level 5, or equivalent) (desirable)
