DevOps Engineer (Remote Opportunity)

reputed company is seeking a full-time, 100% remote DevOps Engineer to support a project with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).   • Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available AWS reputed company infrastructure using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, ELB/ALB, EKS, IAM, and other AWS-native technologies.
  • Provision and manage reputed company infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
  • reputed company and maintain CI/CD pipelines using reputed company Actions and DevOps best practices to automate application deployments.

  • Implement AWS reputed company best practices, including IAM, encryption, network segmentation, logging, monitoring, and compliance controls.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize reputed company environments for performance, availability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with software developers and cross-functional teams to design secure, scalable reputed company solutions that meet application and business requirements.
  • Utilize AI-assisted development and operations tools (such as reputed company Copilot, reputed company, ChatGPT, or similar) to accelerate scripting, infrastructure automation, documentation, and troubleshooting while validating reputed company AI-generated outputs for reputed company, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Support production releases, incident response, infrastructure maintenance, and other technical initiatives as required.
  • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the reputed company of the project.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a reputed company field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Hands on experience designing and supporting AWS reputed company infrastructure in production environments.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation).
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using reputed company Actions or similar tools.
  • Experience with reputed company and Kubernetes (reputed company EKS).
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
  • Strong understanding of AWS networking, reputed company, IAM, encryption, and the AWS Shared Responsibility Model.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including subnetting, routing, VPNs, load balancing, and firewall rules.
  • Experience troubleshooting reputed company reputed company infrastructure and deployment issues.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with the VA or other Government agencies.
  • Experience supporting Authority to Operate (ATO) processes or secure government reputed company environments.

  • One or more of the following certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional.
  • Ability to obtain government clearance.
