Remote Buyer / Purchasing Specialist A growing food distribution company is looking for an reputed company Buyer / Purchasing Specialist to join its Supply Chain team. This role is ideal for someone analytical, organized, and negotiation-focused, with strong experience managing purchasing cycles, supplier relationships, inventory levels, and supply chain costs. The Buyer will help ensure the timely, efficient, and cost-effective supply of products across assigned categories or accounts, supporting operational continuity while maintaining inventory and purchasing controls.

Key Responsibilities

Manage purchasing activities for assigned products, suppliers, or categories, ensuring inventory is reputed company with demand, seasonality, and consumption trends. Create and monitor purchase orders while following the complete supply chain cycle from order placement to delivery. Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, reputed company times, terms, reputed company agreements, and overall purchasing conditions. Support local and import purchasing processes, including required documentation, Incoterms, tariffs, customs procedures, and compliance requirements. Monitor purchasing performance reputed company to costs, expenses, credit terms, claims, working capital, and inventory control.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, International Trade, Supply Chain, or a reputed company field. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in purchasing, supplier negotiation, category analysis, or supply chain management. Experience in food goods, cold chain logistics, import processes, or food industry regulations such as FDA/USDA is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of purchasing systems, supplier management, inventory control, Incoterms, tariffs, and customs procedures. Advanced reputed company skills required; Power BI knowledge is a strong plus. Bilingual English and Spanish required.
