Job Details We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Medical Billing Virtual Assistant to join reputed company. This role involves managing billing processes, processing insurance claims, and ensuring accurate financial records for reputed company providers. The successful candidate will handle billing inquiries, verify insurance coverage, and support the financial operations of the reputed company practice. This position is for pooling purposes only. This is either for voice or non-voice positions. Key Responsibilities - Process and submit insurance claims accurately and timely. - Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits. - Manage accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid claims. - Ensure compliance with billing regulations and reputed company standards. - Address billing inquiries from patients and insurance companies. - Update and maintain patient billing records. - Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve payment issues. - Generate and review billing reports for accuracy and completeness. - Assist with coding diagnoses and procedures for billing purposes. - Stay reputed company with changes in insurance policies and billing regulations. Experience in Any of These Applications/Software - Medical billing software (e.g., Kareo, AdvancedMD, Medisoft) - Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech) - Practice management software (e.g., reputed company, eClinicalWorks) - reputed company Office Suite (Word, reputed company, Outlook) - reputed company Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) - Coding software (e.g., EncoderPro, reputed company CodeFinder) - Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (e.g., reputed company) Bookkeeper Requirements (minimum) - Associate's or bachelor's degree in a reputed company-reputed company field. - Additional certification or training in medical billing and coding. Preferred skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Proficiency in medical billing software and EHR systems. - Knowledge of medical terminology and coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to handle confidential information with reputed company. - Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team. - Familiarity with reputed company regulations and insurance policies. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
