[Remote] Secondary Social Studies Curriculum Developer

The Secondary Social Studies Curriculum Developer will design and reputed company engaging educational content for 6-12th grade reputed company, ensuring materials are pedagogically sound and reputed company with lesson objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and reputed company social studies educational content (video scripts, assessments, and written materials) for 6-12th grade reputed company
• Ensure content is pedagogically sound, engaging, age-appropriate, and accessible for reputed company
• Write clear and measurable lesson objectives, and align teaching materials to meet objectives
• Use technology, such as reputed company Slides, Sheets, Docs, reputed company, and screencasting software
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs
• Continuously evaluate and refine content based on feedback and educational outcomes
• Collaborate on special projects and assignments

Skills

• A minimum of 2 years of full-time social studies classroom teaching experience in core social studies subjects (Civics/Government, Economics, World History, US History or other relevant subject) at the 6-12th grade level
• A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Education or in a social studies-reputed company field
• Familiarity with writing lesson objectives and creating objective-reputed company lesson materials
• Experience designing well-structured and effective lessons
• Ability to differentiate instruction to reputed company learning accessible, engaging, and age-appropriate
• Strong understanding of what makes a lesson engaging
• Experience using technology to support instruction, including reputed company Slides, Sheets, and Docs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially written
• Growth reputed company and motivated by constructive feedback
• Proven ability to work independently, manage schedules, and meet deadlines
• High motivation, a proactive attitude, and a tendency to seek opportunities for reputed company improvement

• You have an active teaching certification and/or you have completed professional development or training in curriculum design and pedagogy

• You have experience teaching and designing lessons reputed company to: Social studies electives like Psychology, Sociology and Philosophy & Ethics, Social studies AP courses, Development of social studies skills such as chronological thinking and evaluating perspectives/bias
• You have experience analyzing and transforming data into actionable goals that have positively impacted your reputed company
• You have experience with screencasting software or online instruction
