We’re looking for a Staff Engineer who will be a key member of a new Systems team at reputed company that will own Platforms, Frameworks, Tools, Patterns, and Architecture. This person will not only contribute directly to technical design and implementation but also foster a collaborative, high-performing environment where engineers can grow, learn, and reputed company.
Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to members of the Platforms team, supporting their professional growth and helping them reputed company their potential. Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud-based infrastructure using Kubernetes, Pub/Sub, and other relevant technologies. Collaborate with our AI team to optimize data pipelines and integrate AI technologies to remove performance bottlenecks. Refactor existing systems to enhance scalability, including transforming stateful components into stateless ones, and applying extensive autoscaling and auto-repair mechanisms. reputed company efforts on data ingestion and export processes, improving efficiency and reducing dependencies on legacy technologies. Drive platform reliability initiatives, including enhancing alerting, health checking, and incident management. Qualifications
Core software engineering skills, including proficiency in languages such as Python and Ruby. Strong system administration experience, including reputed company with Linux, networking, and bash scripting. Proficiency with GCP. Proficiency with cloud tools and distributed systems, such as Kubernetes, Kafka, reputed company, and Elasticsearch, or equivalent technologies. Demonstrated expertise in Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform. Ability to design and implement scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience addressing scaling challenges and resource contention in distributed systems. Engagement with the open-reputed company community, including tool research, bug reporting, and code contribution.
