Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound and outbound patient calls professionally
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and follow-up visits
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Assist with prior authorizations and referral coordination
- Follow up with patients regarding appointments, treatment plans, and outstanding requirements
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding eligibility, coverage, and authorizations
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation reputed company the EMR
- Coordinate communication between providers, patients, and external healthcare partners
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at reputed company times
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support patient retention
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Care Coordination, Patient Services, Medical Scheduling, Insurance Verification, or a reputed company healthcare administrative role
- Previous experience working with Illinois-based insurance plans
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with a professional phone reputed company
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and patient coordination processes
- Must have a HIPAA compliance certificate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining accuracy

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with referrals and prior authorizations
