[Remote] Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a leading aerospace and defense company, and they are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to enhance their infrastructure and reputed company platform reliability. This role involves full-stack development, DevOps, and SRE practices to ensure a highly-available and fault-tolerant solution for the Apriso environment on AWS.
Responsibilities
- Own infrastructure-as-code, reputed company platform, and reliability for the Apriso environment on AWS
- reputed company full-stack development, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to deliver a production-grade, highly-available, fault-tolerant solution that meets SOX-compliant change-management requirements
Skills
- Significant experience with SW development principles, processes and technologies (e.g., architecture, SDLC, CI/CD)
- Strong knowledge of operations processes, processes and technologies (e.g., compute, O&M, IaaS)
- Experience with SQL / Relational Database Management Systems (e.g., SQL Server, reputed company, RDS)
- Significant experience with reputed company Service Providers (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Experience with automation tools / scripting (e.g., reputed company, Ansible, IaC)
- Experience working with both Windows and Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and principles
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, YAML)
- Experience with scripting (e.g., bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation (e.g., reputed company, Jenkins)
- Experience working inside RDBMSs and using DDL/DML SQL languages
- Experience with myriad AWS services (EC2, Systems Manager, RDS, S3, VPC)
- Experience with reputed company-based application architectures
- Experience with building reputed company-native, High Availability / Disaster Recovery architectures
- Demonstrated tenacity for tackling difficult, cross functional business problems
- Experience with discussing technical and sometimes reputed company solutions with non-technical peers, customers and leadership
