They are seeking a Data Governance Analyst to support data governance, metadata management, and data quality initiatives in a remote position with occasional onsite reputed company reputed company necessary.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage business metadata, definitions, attributes, and data standards
- Review data profiling results and identify data quality issues and root causes
- Support remediation planning and execution for approved data quality improvements
- Provide business context for datasets, including data creation, consumption, and dependencies
- Collaborate with Business Data Stewards, Technical Stewards, and System Owners to validate data reputed company and system behavior
- Support Planning-for-Control readiness activities and escalate data governance risks as needed
Skills
- 5+ years of Data Stewardship, Data Governance, or Data Management experience
- Strong understanding of metadata management and data quality processes
- Experience with data profiling, data reputed company, and root cause analysis
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks, controls, and standards
- Strong stakeholder collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to document business definitions, rules, and data standards
- Experience in reputed company data governance, data management, or data quality programs
- Background supporting large-scale data governance and stewardship initiatives reputed company regulated or reputed company reputed company environments
