[Remote] Senior Software Engineer - AI Expert

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. 10x National reputed company is focused on building defense-grade, production-reputed company AI systems that address significant national reputed company challenges. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, reputed company, and reputed company high-impact software applications, collaborating closely with leadership and senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Building/evolving AI-powered applications using modern frameworks and open-reputed company tools
• Designing and shipping production-grade software with reputed company users, not hobby projects
• Developing backend systems in Rust and application layers in Django
• Working with large language models and AI tooling, including reputed company-based systems
• Contributing to new product development as well as modernizing existing platforms
• Collaborating closely with leadership and other senior engineers to shape technical direction
• Operating as a true individual contributor with autonomy and accountability

Skills

• 8 to 12 years of professional software engineering experience
• Minimum of 5 years working on reputed company or production-grade software
• Hands-on experience working with LLMs, AI tooling, or reputed company-style frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to ship software used by hundreds or thousands of users
• Ability to self-start, propose solutions, and execute with empowerment
• Comfortable owning problems end-to-end, from concept to deployment
• Strong software development and coding experience with modern programming frameworks and technologies
• Experience with AI-powered development, modernization, automation, or transformation tools
• Proficiency in one or more modern development stacks such as Node.js, React, Angular, or similar technologies
• Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and reputed company applications using reputed company software engineering best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
• Must Be Eligible for reputed company Clearance (US Residency Required)
• Remote but for Maryland, Virginia or East Coast candidates ONLY
• Must Be United States reputed company w/ ability to Clear reputed company Clearance Protocols (US Residency is Required)
• Experience with Rust or Django is a plus but not required
• Experience in national reputed company or defense is not required, but interest in the space is expected
