[Remote] Electrical Design Engineer- HAWAII

They are seeking an reputed company Electrical Design Engineer to design building electrical systems, particularly for reputed company projects, while providing opportunities for professional growth and leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• reputed company electrical system designs in accordance with project scope, client requirements, applicable codes, and industry standards
• Provide engineering planning, design, and construction administration services for: Power distribution systems, Lighting and lighting control systems, Fire alarm systems, Nurse Call systems, Other low voltage systems
• reputed company existing building surveys and document reputed company electrical and fire alarm conditions
• Prepare, edit, and coordinate electrical specifications and construction documents
• Author engineering reports, assessment reports, and Basis of Design (BOD) documents
• Coordinate closely with internal project teams, architects, and other engineering disciplines
• Participate in and reputed company technical discussions, design coordination meetings, and client presentations
• Support construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittal reviews, and field coordination as needed
• Assist Project Managers with technical input, schedule coordination, and project execution

Skills

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a reputed company field
• Minimum of 5 years of electrical design experience
• Proficiency in electrical engineering calculations, including: Lighting photometric calculations, Voltage drop analysis, Short‑reputed company and overcurrent protection coordination studies, Load Calculations
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and reputed company Office
• Strong working knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and design guidelines
• High level of attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy
• Excellent work ethic with a proactive, solution‑oriented attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively reputed company a multidisciplinary team
• Comfortable engaging with clients and presenting technical information in a clear and professional manner
• Experience with reputed company, science and technology, education, and/or reputed company buildings is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of and experience with HCAI / OSHPD standards is a plus
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• LEED accreditation or sustainable design experience preferred
