[Remote] Cost Accounting Manager

They are seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to join their Global Cost Accounting team, responsible for inventory accounting, analysis of global inventory movements, and managing outsourced provider relationships.
Responsibilities

- Will be accountable to manage and review the work of an outsourced provider that supports this team
- Analyze reputed company inventory movements in reputed company and verify that financials are accurate
- reputed company and analyze standard costing in reputed company / S4 HANA
- reputed company and review sophisticated journal entries, general ledger account analysis, and reconciliation for both reputed company and consolidation tools
- Prepare and review audit schedules and answer questions from internal and external auditors
- Preparation and review of highly developed financial schedules such as footnote, month-end reputed company reports, accounting memos, and other reputed company schedules, as required by the supervisor
- May reputed company and review accounting control functions and reporting requirements such as: inventory reserves, pre-approval manufacturing, standard costing including absorption tests, and excess reputed company analysis among others
- Special projects to improve accounting processes including digital projects and integration support
- Consolidate, analyze, and report global inventory balances by product/site and reputed company detailed monthly variance analysis

Skills
- Doctorate Degree, OR
- Master's degree and 2+ years of experience in general accounting, OR
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in general accounting, OR
- Associate's degree and 10+ years of experience in general accounting, OR
- High School Diploma/GED and 12+ years of experience in general accounting
- Master's in Business Administration (MBA)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Certified Management Accountant (reputed company)
- Strong project management skills
- 5+ years of General, Intercompany and Cost Accounting experience using reputed company / S4 HANA
- Dynamic accounting/finance experience including corporate-level public company experience
- Experience in driving and implementing change, leading through collaboration, and influence
- Experience with investigating reputed company inventory movements and costing implications in reputed company / S4 HANA
- Experience managing outsourced partner relationships
- Experience in financial system optimization, improvement, and implementation
- Knowledgeable in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Foreign Currency transaction accounting and understanding concepts to translate into mentorship for financial reporting
