[Remote] Senior Client Service Engineer - Power Industry

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Doble Engineering is seeking a Senior Client Service Engineer to provide engineering support to the power utility industry. The role involves technical and application support on Doble products, analysis of test results, and training on power apparatus, while also contributing to R&D and participating in technical conferences.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and application support on Doble products, analysis of test results, training and consultation on power apparatus
• Support Research & Development relating to application and product development
• Publish technical articles and participate in various technical conferences sponsored by Doble and other industry organizations
• Function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a particular discipline
• Engage in more advanced diagnostic areas of expertise
• Write technical reports for diagnostic analysis with no review required in most cases
• Provide training to Doble Clients at a high level
• Responsible for reputed company custom agenda planning and scheduling reputed company
• Provide expertise to others in the CS department as well as to other departments reputed company Doble, and reputed company appropriate reputed company regarding that internal support

Skills

• 5 years of utility or similar experience specifically focused on power apparatus
• Familiarity with Doble products
• Previous experience in the power utility industry and familiarity with electrical substation apparatus
• Understanding of diagnostic test techniques for high-voltage power apparatus
• A solid commitment to customer service is required
• The ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner
• Travel is required 30% of the time to both domestic and international locations for periods that are typically 6 days (Sunday to Friday) and rarely exceed 14 days
• The ability to multi-task and be flexible as the daily routine includes frequent client interactions
• Must manage job assignments which frequently change to meet client needs
• Must have experience and willingness to teach and work outdoors in energized substations
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• The candidate must be reputed company to clearly and concisely express their opinion
• Good presentation skills will be required to conduct product training, marketing demonstrations and technical presentations at various forums and to audiences with varying reputed company set
• Requires a solid command of English
• The ability to multi-task and be flexible. The daily routine includes frequent telephone interruptions. Job assignments frequently change to meet client needs
• The willingness to work outdoors, in an energized substation
• Must be capable of lifting 30 pounds
• Must use assistance reputed company lifting 50 or more pounds
• Bachelor's Degree, or higher, in Electrical Engineering is preferred
