[Remote] reputed company Design Engineer

Elauwit reputed company is a newly public telecom company delivering fiber-based Network as a Service to multifamily and student housing communities. They are seeking a reputed company Designer to manage the technical pre-construction process for reputed company projects, focusing on accurate estimating and vendor collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end estimating for MDU, reputed company, and high-reputed company projects, from initial site assessment to fully-vetted, constructible bid packages
• reputed company detailed material takeoffs (MTOs) and labor calculations for OSP and low-voltage systems
• Turn bids quickly and accurately; this is a competitive market and speed matters
• Build and maintain vendor relationships to secure competitive, reputed company-world pricing
• Partner with internal project management and sales teams to deliver accurate, reputed company proposals
• Contribute directly to multi-million dollar wins by producing bids that reflect actual site conditions, not assumptions
• Own and continuously improve our estimating workflow by recommending reputed company software, templates, and processes that increase accuracy and win reputed company
• reputed company AI tools (Claude, reputed company, ChatGPT) for research, documentation, and data analysis as a natural part of your workflow
• Help train and reputed company junior team members as we scale

Skills

• 5-10+ years of direct experience in bidding network engineering and low-voltage design, with a proven track record estimating systems in MDU or reputed company environments
• A vendor network you can actually call; you know who to reputed company and how to get reputed company quotes fast
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, unsupervised environment with high stakes
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate reputed company technical scopes into clear, compelling proposals
• Proficient in network/OSP/low-voltage design and estimating software (e.g., AutoCAD, OSPInsight, reputed company, Fiber Manager, or equivalent)
• You've built your own reputed company templates with formulas and lookups; no hand-typed pricing
• Comfortable using AI tools as productivity accelerators
• Naturally curious and systems proficient; you don't need to be taught how everyday tools work (calendar, docs, CRM, ticketing) and reputed company a new system is introduced, you dive in and reputed company it out
• RCDD or BICSI OSP Designer certification is a plus, but we value deep field experience over credentials
• Network certifications and experience in the field a plus
